Meet your coach.

Hi, my name is Emily! I’m an RRCA certified running coach, and I can’t wait to work with you to achieve your running goals!

  • I’ve been running since 2014 and coaching since 2022.

  • I ran my first marathon (without a coach) in 2015, when I was a graduate student in need of an escape. I finished in 4:30:xx and, not to be cheesy, but it changed my life.

  • I’m now a 13x marathon finisher and Boston Qualifier.

  • In my free time, I’m an endurance physiology nerd (one of my all-time favorite books is Endure by Alex Hutchinson).

But, I’m also a wife, corporate leader, and “mom” to a very active Australian Shepherd dog. In other words: I get what being busy looks like! I can’t just ignore when I’m in the middle of a demanding marathon training block.

That’s why I became a coach. I want to help busy people like me train in a way that takes into account non-running stressors to optimize their ability to reach their own unique running goals. Believe it or not, pretending that you aren’t tired or stressed out from the rest of life DOESN’T make you a better runner!

But I also believe it’s not an either/or between running success and being present for life outside of running. I can’t wait to partner with you to build a training plan that optimizes your running performance while also keeping your priorities straight!
